* Overview

  TinCLE is an ultra-lightweight 2D game engine optimized for AI-driven
  development (Vibe Coding / One-Shot code generation) and programming beginners.
  It supports a dynamic hybrid ecosystem targeting both Windows Desktop (TCC)
  and Web Browser (WASM/Emscripten) platforms.

* Package Contents

  The distribution archive contains four dedicated environment folders tailored
  for different development targets and language runtimes:

  - 32bit folder: For Native C99 (Windows 32-bit + Web WASM 32-bit targets).
  - 64bit folder: For Native C99 (Windows 64-bit + Web WASM 32-bit targets).
  - 32bitjs folder: For TinCLE JS (Vanilla JS / Canvas / NW.js 32-bit).
  - 64bitjs folder: For TinCLE JS (Vanilla JS / Canvas / NW.js 64-bit).

  Please choose the appropriate folder based on your project goals:

  * For Native C99 Development (32bit / 64bit folders):
    Unless you have specific requirements, we strongly recommend using the
    "32bit" environment. This ensures that the pointer width of the native
    executable matches that of WebAssembly (WASM), providing the smoothest
    debugging and development workflow.

  * For JavaScript Development with TinCLE JS (32bitjs / 64bitjs folders):
    TinCLE JS provides a zero-setup, highly forgiving Canvas and NW.js game
    environment. Choose which talent chips to feed your AI based on model scale:

    - Lightweight / Local AI Workflow:
      If you are developing with local LLMs or smaller models, provide ONLY
      "SKILL.md" to the AI. This locks the generation into a lightweight,
      bulletproof single-file 2D Canvas pipeline without complex overhead.

    - Frontier / Agentic AI Workflow (Full Power):
      If you are using large frontier models (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) or
      capable agentic tools, provide BOTH "SKILL.md", "SKILL_HL.md" and
      "SKILL_LIB1.md" together. This unlocks the full experimental JavaScript
      stack, including 3D graphics (Three.js), physics engines (Planck.js /
      cannon-es), audio drivers (Howler.js), custom shaders, and multi-file
      project architectures.

  To get an overview of the individual files included in the distribution, you
  can attach "TinCLE.md" to the chat AI and ask it.

* How to Use

  If this is your first time using TinCLE and you'd like to get a general
  overview, attach "TinCLE.md”"to the chat AI and ask any questions you may
  have. If you'd like to see TinCLE's version history, attach "HISTORY.md" to
  the chat AI and ask any questions you may have.

  As a fundamental rule, please develop your project alongside your preferred
  AI coding partner (any AI assistant capable of generating standard C code).
  This engine is strictly not designed with the assumption that a human will
  write entire codebases from scratch (though it remains theoretically possible
  by reviewing the documentation).

  * Quick Project Setup via popcorn:

    If you want to start a brand-new project right away, simply run "popcorn.exe"
    located in the framework package. This utility automatically lets you select
    a destination directory and deploys all necessary framework files and
    SKILL.md directly into your target workspace in seconds.

  * Fully Automated AI Agent Workflow:

    If you grant your AI agent directory and file-handling execution privileges,
    place all framework files and directories into a folder accessible by the AI.
    Provide "SKILL.md" as the primary prompt guideline to request automated game
    creation. Ensure all raw game assets (images, fonts, audio) are placed
    directly in the same root folder (do not create subdirectories).
    The AI can invoke "tinclec" for native desktop binaries or "emcass" for web
    browser distribution deliverables automatically.

  * Interactive AI Chat Workflow:

    When developing via conventional AI chat prompts, feed the contents of
    "SKILL.md" to the AI as the initial context. Clearly describe your game
    concept, and request incremental code blocks. Simply copy-paste the
    generated output into "game.c" using your preferred text editor. Execute
    "tinclec" in the terminal to quickly playtest on Windows, or use "emcass"
    to test on a local web server.

  * Integrated Development via cococake IDE:

      You can streamline your AI-assisted development loop by using "cococake",
      the dedicated IDE for TinCLE that allows you to seamlessly update code and
      execute build commands while interacting with AI chat interfaces.
      Before launching, configure the following three parameters in
      "cococake.ini":

        AI_URL ... The web address of the AI chat interface used for
                       development.
        TCC_PATH ... The folder path containing tcc.exe in your environment.
        EMSDK_PATH ... The folder path containing emsdk.bat in your environment.

  * Human Understanding Stance:

    The overarching architectural philosophy of this framework views human
    readability as a secondary priority. However, if a human developer wishes to
    comprehend the underlying system mechanics, you can read "document.pdf,"
    which perfectly mirros the specifications outlined in SKILL.md. To grasp
    deployment pipelines or setup routines quickly, it is highly recommended to
    have an AI read SKILL.md and ask it questions directly.

* Troubleshooting: Cannot attach SKILL.md in AI Chat (e.g., Microsoft Copilot)

  Due to strict security filters on certain AI services (such as Microsoft
  Copilot), attaching `SKILL.md` directly as a file may be blocked, as the C
  language API signatures can be falsely flagged as malicious content.

  If you encounter this issue, please use our official GitHub Gist repository
  instead:

  * Official Gist Repository: https://gist.github.com/michyo

  * How to Use:

    1. Open the Gist repository corresponding to your TinCLE version.
    2. Locate the required skill file (e.g., `SKILL.md`, `SKILL_ADD.md`).
    3. Copy the URL of the file and paste it directly into your AI chat prompt.
    4. Instruct the AI to read the provided URL to load the necessary skills.

* System Requirements

  - Target Execution Environments:
    * Windows Desktop: Windows 10 or later (32-bit / 64-bit architectures)
    * Web Browser: Modern browsers supporting WebAssembly (WASM) and HTML5
                   (e.g., Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox)

  * It may operate on legacy versions of Windows or legacy browsers,
    but environment verification has not been conducted.
